Appearance

Energy Logserver uses a light theme by default. Each user account keeps its own theme setting, so switching to dark mode on one account does not change the interface for other users.

Switching Dark Mode

1. Open the sidebar and go to Management > Advanced settings.

2. In the Appearance section, turn Dark mode on or off.

3. Click Save changes and refresh the page.

Quick Switching from the Top Bar

To switch the theme without opening Advanced settings, turn on Enable user control in the same Appearance section, click Save changes and refresh the page. A brush icon appears in the upper right corner, next to the user avatar. Click it, choose Screen mode and click Apply:

Use browser settings	Takes the light or dark theme from the operating system at the moment you click Apply. A later change in the system theme takes effect only after you click Apply again.

Note

With Enable user control on, the theme selected in the top bar is stored in the browser, not on the server, so it applies only to the browser where you selected it. The Dark mode switch in Advanced settings is then greyed out with the message This setting is overridden by user or browser preferences. Turning Enable user control off restores the theme saved in Advanced settings and removes the browser setting.
